OUR DOCTOR

PATRICIA BEARNSON, M.D.

Dr. Bearnson began as a practicing general OBGYN in July 1989.  In 1992 she was the Medical Director of Women's Health Services at St. Marks Hospital, Salt Lake City, Utah.  She developed and managed an osteoporosis screening program as well as an educational program for the public and nursing staff.  In 1995 Dr. Bearnson went into private practice with focus on treatment of diseases of the breast and related issues and served as Medical Director of Breast Care Services at St. Marks Hospital.  In 1998 she was affiliated with Phase II Center for Women's Health, with a focus on menopause issues, female sexual health and osteoporosis.  In May 2004 she opened a solo practice Phase II Sexual Health and Menopause Center.

MEDICAL RESEARCH-Principle Investigator: A study evaluating the efficacy and safety of Sufugolix for subjects with symptomatic endometriosis; Safety of the transdermal Testosterone Patch in menopausal women with low libido not on estrogen or progestin, as well as a study of those patients that are on estrogen therapy who have undergone hysterectomy and bilateral oophorectomy;and more.

 

OUR NURSE PRACTIONER

RONDA LUCEY

Ronda began her nursing career in 1991.  She became an instructor at Westminster College in 1998 and is now an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Westminster College.  We are fortunate to have Ronda as a mid-level provider that sees patients on Fridays and the first Wednesday evening of every month.  Ronda is a skilled Certified Nurse Practioner who performs patient wellness visits (which include Pap Smears) and handles all routine gynecology for Dr. Bearnson.

OUR STAFF

Babs Beatty -  Office Manager 

Babs is new to the medical community.  She began with Dr. Bearnson in April 2003 when she assisted Dr. Bearnson with the design and move to her new office and later became her office manager.  Her background is in office management and art.    Some of her art can be seen on the walls of our office and that of Phase II Women's Health.  If you'd like to view more of her work visit her website at www.danglingmoon.com.  Babs can assist you with unresolved billing problems or any concerns or questions about the service you received at our office. 

 

NancyApril

Nancy Langman - M.A.

Nancy received her M.A. from the Jordan Technical Center in 1998.   She began working at Phase II Sexual Health in July 2004.  She is a Certified Clinical Densitometrist as well as a trained and certified Phase II SkinCare technician.  In addition to performing your bone density scan and skin care needs she can also answer your questions, help with your prescription requests and provide you with routine results.

April Allred

April is our newest employee.    She graduated in 2000 and received her M.A. from Salt Lake Community College.  She worked at Foothill Family Clinic from 2000-2005.  She will assist you to your exam room, take your vitals, answer questions and return your calls to our office. 

Becky Kingsbury - Receptionist

Becky is the most likely the person to assist you with making an appointment, take messages and welcome you to our office.   She will make sure that we have the proper information to bill your insurance company and handle the paperwork required.
