Cialis for Women

Generic Tadalafil is manufactured under the brand name Cialis. It stands out in the background of other pills for sexual dysfunction treatment due to an impressively long duration of action. It may last for 36 hours compared to 4-6 hours with other pills of such kind.

Tadalafil is widely applied in the therapy of erectile dysfunction in men. Its effectiveness and safety for women haven’t been determined yet as there is not enough scientifically based data on this preparation.

However, knowing its effect on the male organism, it may be assumed that Cialis will work in a similar way for women too.

Myth #1. Cialis for men and Cialis for women are two different drugs

No matter what promotion campaigns may claim, Cialis for both men and women is exactly the same drug. Of course, it may differ in color and package, yet the essence doesn’t change. Cialis for men as well as Cialis for women has Tadalafil as an active component. Hence, the effects of the drug cannot be different.

Tadalafil acts by enhancing the flow of blood to the pelvic organs due to relaxation of the smooth muscles of the blood vessels. As a result, men get a strong and lasting erection and women may feel a certain increase in the sensitivity of their sex organs, particularly clitoris. So, reaching an orgasm may be really easier as the response to sexual stimulation gets stronger.

Myth #2. Cialis can increase female libido

Despite certain assumptions that Cialis can increase the quality of sexual closeness, it has absolutely no impact on the female libido. Of course, using Cialis, women may have a stronger sexual response to sexual stimulation due to better lubrication of the intimate zones and high clitoral sensitivity, yet it has nothing to do with the sex drive felt for no particular reason.

On the other hand, a betterment in the quality of sexual intercourses may stimulate the female brain to associate sex with something pleasurable. Hence, the subconscious desire to have sex may rise.

Myth #3. Cialis is 100% effective

In a small number of clinical trials on the use of Cialis in women, the bulk of the female-participants felt no difference in their desire to have sex. However, an increase in the pleasurable feelings during intimate communication was marked by almost all the women taking part in the clinical trials.

Myth #4. Cialis is absolutely safe for women

Not a single drug on this planet may be called absolutely safe. However, the frequency of negative effects triggered by this or that preparation may differ. Speaking about Cialis use in women, it is very difficult to determine the level of its safety as no reliable information is available on this matter.

Nevertheless, we may assume that Cialis may provoke some side effects, which are also possible in men:

  • Headache;
  • Stuffy nose;
  • Muscle pain;
  • Facial flushes.

Taking into account the female physiology it may also be assumed that Cialis may increase the risks for vaginal bleedings in women who are prone to them. Besides, it may stimulate the growth of the tumors of the female sex organs in case any exist. In addition, there is a high probability of dangerous interactions between Tadalafil and some drugs that women may take.

You should also remember that Cialis is not approved by the FDA for the treatment of female sexual dysfunction. It means that it still needs to be studied to be 100% sure about its efficacy and safety. So, never take Cialis without a consultation with your healthcare provider.
